Before you begin
What you need in place to create your first shipment.
To create your first shipment you will need:
- A Shipperfy account.
- At least one pick-up location.
- The recipient's delivery address.
- The parcel's length, width, height, weight and package type.
- A valid payment method when you buy a label with Shipperfy carrier rates.
A connected sales channel and your own courier account are both optional.
Do I need a sales channel?#
No. You can create manual orders or use Quick Quote without connecting an online store or marketplace.
Do I need my own courier account?#
No. You can use Shipperfy's discounted courier rates without connecting a courier account. If you already have negotiated rates with a supported carrier, you can connect that account as well. See Carriers.
