Tracking
Follow a parcel, manage shipments and cancel unused labels.
Follow the collection or drop-off instructions supplied for the selected service, then check progress from Shipments.
Track a shipment#
- Open Shipments in the left menu.
- Find the shipment in the list and select it.
- Open the Shipment Menu.
- Select Tracking to open the carrier's tracking page.
The list shows the shipped date, order number, courier, service, cost, tracking information and status. Shipment statuses are Complete, Awaiting end of day, Error and Cancelled. Awaiting end of day means the shipment still needs to be despatched. See Manifests & pickups.
Tracking on your sales channel#
When you mark an order as shipped, Shipperfy sends the tracking details back to the sales channel where the channel supports it.
Shipment actions#
Available actions depend on the shipment and carrier:
- Tracking
- Re-Print label
- Update Shipment
- Cancel Shipment
- Create Return
Cancel a shipment#
Eligible unused shipments can be cancelled from Shipment Menu > Cancel Shipment. This cancels the shipment with the carrier and marks the order as not shipped on the sales channel.
Amazon does not allow orders to be marked as unshipped, so cancelling a shipment does not change the order on Amazon.
Eligible cancelled shipments are refunded. Refund timing and rules vary by carrier.
Refresh and check open shipments#
- Refresh All Shipments and Refresh Selected Shipments update statuses from the carrier, in case a shipment was changed outside Shipperfy.
- Check Open Shipments Basket asks the carrier for every open shipment on your account, even ones not created in Shipperfy. It helps with troubleshooting and confirming what is open.
- Cancel All Shipments and Cancel Selected Shipments cancel several at once.
