Manifests & pickups

Drop-off and pickup options, and closing your day with end-of-day manifests.

Pickup or drop-off#

The first mile is how your parcel gets to the carrier, and it depends on the service you pick.

Pickup#

Parcels are collected from your pick-up location, normally the next business day. To change the date, choose another one from the dropdown. Some services let you add collection instructions, and Aramex offers an AM or PM pickup cycle.

Drop-off#

Print the label, attach it to the parcel and take it to a drop-off point. For services with drop-off, Shipperfy shows drop-off instructions and a finder where you can search by suburb, postcode or location.

For example, with a drop-off service:

  • Parcels can be up to 10 kg and 40 L. The longest side cannot exceed 96 cm, and there is a maximum of 20 parcels per booking.
  • Drop-off points include locations open long hours, such as news agencies, retail stores and pharmacies. Check opening hours.
  • If you send big or many parcels, a pickup may suit better, because some drop-off locations cannot accept parcels once they reach capacity.
  • Once the parcel is dropped off it is scanned and accepted, and you can track it from your dashboard.

Limits depend on the carrier and service, so check the instructions shown for the service you choose.

End-of-day manifests#

Some carriers need you to confirm each day's shipments with a manifest. These shipments show as Awaiting end of day until you despatch them.

  1. Open Shipments > End Of Day.
  2. The page lists the carriers that need a manifest and only shipments that have not been closed.
  3. Select Despatch All, or select shipments and choose Despatch Selected.
  4. Print the manifest document with the Print button.

Closed manifests are listed under Manifests.

For Australia Post MyPost Business, a shipment is only finalised once you close it in End Of Day.
